Material Checklist

Before the event, have these ready:

  • Paper applications
  • Paper AB 540 forms
  • Paper Reclass forms

Troubleshooting Early Decision Students

Students Arriving Without a Complete Application

No SAC Application on File: 1. Student must create a CCC ID on CCCApply. 2. Provide a paper application. 3. Admissions staff will manually enter the application. 4. Student can register within an hour once processed.

Student Claims They Applied but No Record Is Found: - Option 1: Ask student to log into CCCApply and provide their confirmation number and CCCApply ID → load a paper application. - Option 2: If student cannot log in or retrieve details → provide a paper application and follow "No SAC Application on File" steps.

Student Has a Spring Application but No Summer/Fall Application: - Provide a paper application (they should already have a CCC ID). - Load the paper application.

Updating Student Residency

AB 540 Students: - Students should submit the AB 540 Dynamic Form. - If no SSO access: accept a paper AB 540 form. - Admissions staff manually updates residency status.

Non-Resident Students: - Option 1 (documentation): - ID: California ID or school ID (Aeries screenshot with student photo). - Transcripts: HS transcript showing courses at a CA high school for the past 2 years. - Citizenship: HS Demographic Report showing U.S. citizenship, or HS transcript showing U.S. as birthplace. - Option 2 (no documentation available): - Student must submit a Reclass Form (via Dynamic Form or paper).

Registering for Classes

  • Students register through Self-Service.
  • No paper Add Cards.

Admissions enters CORM flags:

COAF: 1. Enter Student ID. 2. Go to an empty line. 3. Enter 1PUEN (Puente) or 1ULIN (ULINK) → press Enter. 4. Enter the highlighted fields. 5. Save All.
