CVC FAQs (Google Drive)

Do students need to request their Exchange class transcripts be sent to their Home College?

Students wanting to use the Exchange must consent to have their transcripts automatically shared from the Teaching College to the Home College at the end of the term. The Exchange informed consent statement at time of enrollment specifies that a student must consent to having their transcripts automatically shared with the Home College. This consent acts as the request for any classes taken through the Exchange.

Classes started today, but my pre-reqs haven't been cleared yet. Am I able to still enroll?

NO. All registration for CVC stops the day the class begins.

If a CVC student is still interested in registering for a course that has already started, then they must:

  1. Fill out a "regular" student application via CCCApply
  2. Complete a "Student Change of Information" to deactivate their SAC.CVC.ND program in SPRO.

Pre-Requisite Clearance

  • Upload transcript to CVC for pre-requisite clearance.
  • We only process transcripts through the CVC platform.

CVC Students Who Want to Switch to SAC as a Regular Student

  1. Verify the student has not registered for any courses through CVC yet.
    • If they are currently in classes, they must finish out the term.
    • If classes have not yet started, they must drop the CVC courses before registering for SAC courses.
  2. Have them apply to Santa Ana College as a regular student.
  3. Have them submit a Change of Information Request to turn off their CVC program.

Can CVC Students Submit EW Requests?

Yes. They will need a PDF request since they will not have access to Self-Service for Dynamic Forms.

Can CVC Students Request Pass/No Pass?

Yes. They will need a PDF request and must speak with a SAC counselor for signature before submitting to us.

Can CVC Students Receive Add Authorization?

No. CVC students cannot receive Add Authorization.

Can CVC Students Update Their Home Campus?

No. CVC students cannot update their home campus.

Tip

If the request is related to financial aid, recommend the student update their FAFSA to include SCC instead of switching their home campus to SAC.
